Friends of the Dominican Republic programs

In recognition of their shared ideologies and commitment to service and giving back, Friends of the Dominican Republic (FDR – an alumni group for former Peace Corps volunteers and staff of the Dominican Republic) and SIT Graduate Institute have partnered to provide benefits to students and alumni of both institutions.

Benefits
  • SIT Graduate Institute will provide up to two (2) $2,000 scholarships to FDR members that have been accepted into an SIT Graduate Institute master’s degree program.
  • SIT will waive the $50 application fee for all FDR members.

Eligibility
  • FDR members, including Returned Peace Corps Volunteers that served in the Dominican Republic, as well as former Peace Corps Dominican Republic staff, are eligible for this scholarship opportunity.
  • Applicants must meet SIT’s admissions requirements and be enrolling in an SIT master’s degree program.
